We are currently looking for contract workers. To install residential VOIP equipment. The following is a list of tools and materials that you will be required to have. In addition to our residential VOIP installs we are also looking for technicians with experience in extending T1 and other high speed Internet lines. VOIP Tools:
Cell Phone
Butt Set / Line Man's Test Set / Analog test set.
Inductive Amplifier / Toner (Note: Multiple tone generators make tracing pair easier, but only one is required)
Screwdrivers, Pliers, and Wrenches of assorted types and sizes typical of a wiring and network tool kit
Crimp Tool / Crimper for RJ-11 and RJ-45
Demarc Extension Tools:
Windows 95, 98, NT, ME, 2000, or XP Notebook (laptop) computer with a functional Ethernet and Serial Interfaces.
Standard Console Cables (two RJ-45 to DB9 Serial adapters, straight-through serial, cross-over serial, and null modem serial)
Punch Down Tool with blades for 66 and 110 blocks
100' Extension Chord
Cable splice kit
Electric Drill and assorted bits
Fish tape
Cable Stapler with cable staples (not flat staples)
Ladder/ Folding Ladder of at least 6' (12' preferred, but not required)
Drywall Saw
Materials:
Cat-5 Cable (Solid Copper, not stranded) (At least 250\u2019 to 1000\u2019)
Biscuit jacks (2-5 pcs RJ-11, 2-5 pcs RJ-45, 1-2 pcs of RJ-48x(optional)) Almond or White
Standard Inside Wiring materials (RJ-11 and RJ-45 crimp terminations, wire ties, etc.)
